PURICELLI Compact Surfaces
- high-performance solutions for demanding interiors

PURICELLI compact surfaces are advanced high-pressure laminate (HPL) panels designed for applications where durability, hygiene and structural stability are essential.
Manufactured in Italy, these compact boards combine technical performance with refined surface aesthetics. Thanks to their solid-core construction and exceptional resistance to moisture, impact and intensive use, PURICELLI compact surfaces are particularly suited for kitchens, bathrooms, laboratories, public facilities and commercial environments.
The non-porous structure ensures easy cleaning and long-term performance, making them a reliable solution for demanding architectural and interior projects. Their slim profile and structural integrity allow for modern, minimal design solutions, including thin worktops, wall cladding and furniture elements.
PURICELLI compact surfaces represent a balance of Italian design culture and industrial precision — developed for architects, designers and manufacturers seeking durable materials with architectural clarity.

12 mm Compact HPL Technology - how Compact HPL is Made

Compact HPL (High Pressure Laminate) panels are engineered through a high-pressure, high-temperature process that transforms layered materials into a solid, structural board with exceptional durability and stability.

Kraft Paper Layers

Multiple layers of high-density kraft paper form the structural base of the panel. These layers are responsible for mechanical strength, impact resistance and dimensional stability.

Thermosetting Resins

The kraft paper is impregnated with thermosetting resins. During production, these resins polymerize under heat and pressure, permanently bonding the layers into a solid, non-porous structure.

High-Pressure Pressing — 90 bar / 150°C

The layered stack is pressed at approximately 90 bar and 150°C. Under these conditions, the materials fuse into a homogeneous compact board, ensuring structural integrity and long-term performance.

Integral Coloured Core

In compact panels, the core is solid and can be colour-matched to the decor. This creates a consistent, through-coloured edge that enhances design coherence, especially in thin worktops and visible-edge applications.

The Result

A dense, self-supporting 12 mm compact board that is highly resistant to moisture, impact, UV exposure and intensive use — making it suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and demanding commercial environments.
